Although designed for game and wildlife use these camera are perfect for covert operations and security use in remote areas where no electrical supply is available. To enhance the covert usage of the 2011 model it now comes with invisible black LEDs that unlike its predecessors does not give off the tell tale glow making it invisible to animals and humans. The camera has numerous settings enabling it to capture 1-3 images per trigger, and the programmable trigger interval shoots anywhere from 1 second to 60 minute intervals. The camera has a day/night passive infrared sensor that takes a picture whenever movement is detected, up to 45' away day or night.
This state of the art camera uses between 4 and 12 'AA' batteries, and depending on the number of images captured and the number of batteries inserted, it can run for up to 1 year on a single set of batteries
